+ WHY ARE THERE CHEAPER OPTIONS FOR WEBSITES?

Our focus is on developing marketing and branding services that help your company grow. This work is difficult and time consuming for the Design Swell team. We are a good fit for companies who are ready to invest in growing. While there will always be a cheaper option, you often get what you pay for. Quality work will always cost a bit more, but its worth it in the long run. 

+ WHY WOULD I NOT BUILD IT MYSELF?

While design tools have become easier to access, there is still a difference between work done by a professional and an amateur. Becoming a professional designer takes years of training and experience to reliably produce quality work. At Design Swell, we're not only seasoned design professionals, but also experienced at helping entrepreneurs and business owners launch, build and grow their companies. 

+ I HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE, SO WHY DO I NEED WEBSITE?

A facebook page is a great tool for your business, often indispensable in being able to connect with your customers and give them updates and news. While great at connecting and sharing, it often fails to properly explain your business, services and value. A website allows you to explain why your business exists, what products and services you provide, and the value you provide for your customers versus your competitors. 

+ HOW DO I GET MY OWN WEBSITE ADDRESS?

Our website builds include a free website address. We can’t promise the address you want will still be available, but we’ll help you get one that works for your company. 

+ HOW DO I GET A CUSTOM EMAIL ADDRESS?

Every website package includes custom email address. While we don’t charge anything to set it up for you, we use Google to manage custom email addresses, who charge a small fee per month (~$5/month). This is an industry standard. 

+ HOW MUCH WILL A WEBSITE COST ME EACH MONTH?

Your websites will be built on one of the common website companies platforms such as SquareSpace, Wix or Shopify. They charge a monthly fee that ranges depending on your needs. Here are some estimates:

  • Informational sites can range from $10-$30/month

  • Content sites can range from $10-$30/month

  • Membership sites start at $30/month

  • Ecommerce sites start at $30/month

Project length varies significantly depending on what you need. General timelines for common projects (based on having all the information ready at the beginning of the project) range between 5-25 days.
